Don't forget that Kraft used Hartford to get his sweetheart deal in Foxboro. That's the one "preemptive" thing Kraft has done that still is not forgotten 'round here...

Yep. As much as I appreciate what Kraft has brought to the Pats, there's no sugarcoating it, he absolutely used Hartford and Gov. Rowland. And Hartford was good enough to provide a sweetheart deal after Boston nixed Kraft.

The Vikes game showed Tebow can put up points too -- and I think the Denver D can slow Mr Brady down. We'll see on Sunday.

Your pointing out the Denver offense against one of the worst teams in the league, ya thats a good comparison.

Minnesota Vikings ranked #18 on defense.

New England Patriots ranked #32.

Wanna try again?? ;)

So you think that Denver will be able to keep up with New England on the score board ....

Ok, well see.

What does the NE Offense look like against the Denver Offense rankings ?

Whats this tell us ?

N.E. has been outscoring people to support thier Defense, while Denver has been struggling to score while thier Defense keeps them in games.

Could be an interesting game.

Why change the subject?

He was talking about DEFENSE, and you change it to offense..... I'll look it up for ya though, and be right back....

OK, how about these stats -

Overall - NE #2, Denver #23
Passing - NE #2, Denver #31
RUSHING - NE #21, Denver #1, baby!! Did ya know that??! :D

Just thought we'd look at both sides of the ball ...
Particularly seeing the NE Defense doesn't play against the Denver Defense and vise versa.

Does it really matter where these teams rank offensively or defensively? Tebow transcends stats, and at the end of day the only stat that matters is 7-1. ;)

So Bill, how is New England's run defense? I haven't a clue.

Looks like run defense decent(#13), pass defense, just bad(#32).

So, if Tebow can throw the ball like he did in the 4th quarter last week, it might be a game!

Mezza Mezza- not awful, but not great by any means. However, that Redskins rookie ran wild on them on Sunday. Their pass defense, on the other hand? G-U-L-P

Where the Pats have been surprisingly strong is their red zone defense. I'm curious to see if that holds up with Tebow and the option.

ckhalil18 just had a post up that I was trying to use and now it's gone ...

I think it said Pats Offense was #2, Denver #23

Ok, So we have the # 2 Offense against the

Oh never mind.... doesn't matter, it sounds like the Pats fan is also pulling for the Tebows

My post has all the stats in it.....use that.

I deleted that post because Yaz edited his post and put the same info. No reason to have duplicates but sorry if I confused you.

#2 offense(NE) vs #19 defense(DEN)

#23 offense (DEN) vs #32 defense(NE)

BUT, Denver's rushing game is #1, New Englands passing game is #2

Denver's secondary is depleted with injuries right now, and full of rookies. Probably will get torched.

BUT, New Englands passing defense is #32, and Tebow was great in the 4th quarter passing last week.

It's a great matchup on paper.

I hope it's as good on the field!

Sounds pretty much like someone conceding the game before it happens.

Sorry, your quote from him was about 5 pages back, I didn't go that far back when I came back online this time, thats why it looked like you quoted me ...
You made it sound like you were having a current conversation at the time, at least that what it looked like.

I agree, but I guess I'm not supposed to. ;) Being a Pats fan, I guess I'm supposed to hate Tebow and ignore the fact that he's led the Broncos to a 7-1 record.

Unlike some I'm just trying to keep it real, and besides I left my pom-poms at the dry cleaners.

Like I posted earlier, If Tebow can play a full game, yes it should be a good game.

However, if he plays like his short history shows, this game will be well out of hand by Tebow time (last 2-5 minutes of the 4th)
