Really Yaz? Its necessary to call somebody stupid because of their criticism of Tebow??

How about folks grow up a bit in here. Or is it not possible to have civil adult conversations about sports in this forum?

All the people saying Tebow should be sitting on the bench instead of playing, well if he was any kind of QB, he should be playing and playing well he's a high draft pick he should be a good player.

Ben's rookie season he went 14-1 and his lost was to the patriots in the championship game, now should he be that good no, I realize the steelers D and running game was better than the broncos is but he should be playing better than what he is.

Ben is different then, Tebow. The offense was setup and built to play with him, and they practice all summer long for him? Where as this is Tebows first time ever in this type of offense, and it was a team/offense built for another QB. Taking over with very limited time with this first squad. You cant expect timing and chemistry to be there right away, of course hes going to over throw or expect his player to go one way they are not synced yet and do not know each other well. Its like Carson palmer last week with the raiders. Hes not really as bad as he was in that game because he just does not know this squad. Sure Tebow has been on the team for a year now, but he has very limited playing time in that 1 year and it was Orton taking snaps with the starters. Not to mention The Broncos gutting the team with its best WR before Tebow even started.

I disagree with this. Roethlisberger came into a totally different situation in Pittsburgh. Not fair to compare the two.

Aaron Rodgers watched and learned for years. Every situation is different.

Peyton Manning was awful his rookie season. Tom Brady didn't play at all his rookie year...and who knows what would have happened if Bledsoe never got hurt.

Not fair to say 'so and so did this, so Tebow should do that too'.

Bite your tongue, Lions lover. You guys win a few games and just explode stupidity. What else can you expect from Detroit I suppose?
Yaz, you've been on my a$$ since I've been a member on this fourm. Seriously, what the hell did I ever do to you? Do I tell you how to react when your team wins or loses? No. Do I tell you how to post stuff? No. Did I ever tell you shut up? No. So why don't you stop trying to tell me what to do and let me say whatever the hell I want to say on this fourm, got it?

See, I just don't think this is right...just my opinion.

LOL if it makes anyone feel better there is a debate absolutely RAGING on a Ranger forum I frequent where people are arguing whether or not Ranger fans should make noise/chant Let's Go Rangers during the playing of the National Anthem.

It's REALLY getting ugly and personal (doesn't help that the Rangers have had a bad start to the season and everyone's nerves are frayed to begin with), where people are questioning patritotism, team loyalty, idiocy, etc., and mods have to keep coming in to clean it up. Makes this debate here seem like a stroll in the park!!!

And for all you wise a**** who were going to make a comment...I am not involved!!! :D

I'm really not.

The only problem with Tebowing is it's obviously a parody, and going to the ground to celebrate would be a flag... but if they have the Refs legislate that during games they'll throw it on the one guy that's done something similar to that for the last 5 years or something.

He's making fun of the Rodgers championship belt move that Rodgers makes when he scores a TD.

LOL it looks so much worse than that!!!

I'm not going to do compare and contrast...just thinking out loud, I suppose Rodgers opens himself out for that by doing it himself.

I'm thinking kneeling in prayer is a little different...

Especially when it's never been a part of the game or on the field. He was seen on camera praying ONCE, on the sidelines, and this is what it has turned in to.
