Special teams is still part of Football. Hell, the Browns lived off that for a while with Cribbs. You cannot call it "gimmick" when you are hoping your "gimmick" guy wants to go back to it. The Raiders lack of continuity after they lost Campbell has alot to do with the Browns coming back. Campbell does not get hurt, the Browns do not come back. Boller had no handle on the offense....that help the Brown stay in the game.

Don't talk to me about injuries. Our lead back pulled his hammy on the 2nd play of the game.

its a shame about campbell salsa. the raiders offense was having a nice rhythm with this guy at the helm.......

..this one caught my interest:

The Denver Post also reported Monday that the Denver Broncos would be willing to trade demoted quarterback Kyle Orton to the Raiders for a draft pick if the Raiders were interested.

QB-needy Oakland Raiders contact David Garrard, source says - ESPN

Now I went around looking in the Denver post and didn't finding anything stating this, but it is all over the blogs. IF the Raiders were to make a move that involved a trade for "future consideration", personally, this would be the best move. The Raiders need a manager of a running offense, not a passing one. And I am sure the Orton would LOVE to stick it to Denver.

I'm pulling for Tebow to do well...I'm not even sure why. I did not like the guy in college.

Perhaps it's because so many people dislike Tebow for wearing his faith on his sleeve. Does not seem like a good reason to hate.

i agree. and even though his beliefs are different from my beliefs i too am hoping he does well. some hate what he might represent. things you no longer see or barely see in the world we live in today. this guy has not harmed anyone or anything to deserve this hatred.

It sucks...but unfortunately part of the game. The ONLY real saving grace is that the Raiders are a run 1st, pass later team. We need a field general more than a guy that can air it out. After looking at the game closely yesterday(I record every Raider game and see it again after all the emotional part of me is out to try to look at things more rationally...call me strange I guess....LOL!) Boller missed on alot of open recievers because quite honestly, he has had no reps with the 1st team. I think he will look alot sharper next weekend after a weeks worth of practice.

IF the Ravens can win the Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer...the Raiders can make the playoff with Kyle Boller.... LOL! I HOPE.....;)

Kyle Bowler's not bad. He has a VERY strong arm and just needs a little repetition with the 1st team offense and he should be fine.

The Broncos are also expected to monitor whether freshly demoted quarterback Kyle Orton draws interest from the Oakland Raiders after they lost starter Jason Campbell for an extended period.

Although the Raiders are their most-heated rival in the AFC West, the Broncos would be willing to give up Orton in return for a draft pick and relief from the estimated $5 million left on his salary.
Broncos hope to complete trade for Lloyd by today - The Denver Post

LOL good point. People are so quick to defend ex-convicts who were convicted of doing all sorts of bad (and illegal) things, multiple accused (but not convicted) rapists, players who are named in paternity suits all over the country, and a whole bunch of other all-around bad guys.

Some of these people could probably be the same ones who hate Tebow because he has the audacity to bare his religion to the entire world.

The proper phrasing of that would be 'Cincinnati is not doing anything with him' since he'd be all for being traded, the Bengals just refuse to.

Bingo! He is hurting his teams chances of getting draft picks to HELP his team due to his ego....IMHO.

Looks like there is heavy rumor Lloyd is this close --><-- to being traded to the Rams....

According to Schefter

Trade is now done per Schefter. Conditional 6th that could be a 5th round pick for 2012.
