But I do object to that fact that my mistake was described as "blantantly". I do not misinform on purpose. When I post something that I consider a fact, I post with links unless they are too many to mention.

Going forward, as I stated, I now know the ground rules for discussing things with you....

I meant blatant as in obvious, but if you want to infer something different..whatever.

You cannot consider someone a flop when he was already playing bad, can you? It's not like everyone didn't know his play had deteriorated...

Not according to many sports-talk experts (especially in the DC area) who said McNabb was being hindered by the Redskins and that he would do well in Minnesota. McNoob had a golden opportunity to prove his naysayers wrong, but he managed to confirm what all of his critics were saying about him. This makes him a Double-Flop IMO.

WOW....that must have been in DC because where I read a saw, stated the same thing....he was over the hill. I did read that by heading to the Vikes he "could" resurrect his career. The operative word of course is "could".

The Vikings must have thought so. After all, they don't usually make any foolish QB decisions, do they??

Thought this billboard was a little funny.

Interesting stat for my Raiders. Kevin Boss was at his blocking best and he showed off his hands. He had four catches for 78 yards, and he did it on just five targets. I'd also like to point out that those 78 yards are 16 better than Zach Miller has for the entire season with the Seahawks.

Poor Zack...

You know the drill by now, or at least you should.

Every Tuesday, teams bring in some unemployed players for a tire-kicking. Here’s the list of players who had tryouts on October 4.

Cardinals: punter Matt Dodge.

Panthers: linebackers Antwan Applewhite, Kevin Bentley, Kion Wilson; defensive back Quintin Demps.

Bengals: defensive lineman Kentwan Balmer.

Browns: defensive back Levy Brown, linebacker Tim Cheatwood, defensive end Robert Rose, defensive tackle Kiante Tripp.

Packers: center Colin Miller.

Texans: defensive backs Ramon Broadway, David Jones, Darcel McBath, Joshua Moore, Myron Rolle.

Dolphins: quarterbacks Brodie Croyle (pictured), Trent Edwards.

Vikings: punter Nick Harris.

Giants: tackles Chris Campbell, Selvish Capers; defensive back Justin Tryon.

Jets: tight end Brandon Manumaleuna.

49ers: running backs Dimitri Nance, Jalen Parmele, Tyrell Sutton.

Seahawks: defensive back Marlin Jackson, guard Duke Robinson, tight ends John Nalbone and Richard Quinnn.

Also on Tuesday, the Ravens visited with defensive back Bryan McCann, the Colts visited with guard Quinn Ojinnka, and the Jets visited with tight end Brad Cottam.

Interesting stuff

Some more interesting stuff....

Updated cap numbers, as of Monday

Posted by Mike Florio on October 4, 2011, 1:12 PM EDT

Even though the season has begun and all big-money free agents have been signed, teams can still use their remaining salary cap money on players whose contracts will be expiring next year or thereafter.

Thus, it remains important to keep an eye on how much cash teams can still spend.

For teams close to the limit, the question becomes whether enough money will be available if a current starter is injured, and needs to be replaced.

The full list of cap numbers as of Monday appears after the break.Jaguars $35.4 million.

Chiefs $27.6 million.

Bucs $27.2 million.

Broncos $25.4 million.

Bills $22.7 million.

Seahawks $20.5 million.

Cowboys $18.6 million.

Bears $18.1 million.

Bengals $17.5 million.

49ers $17.5 million.

Redskins $13.6 million.

Browns $12.8 million.

Dolphins $10.7 million.

Jets $8.6 million.

Titans $8.4 million.

Patriots $8.3 million.

Packers $7.5 million.

Cardinals $7.2 million.

Ravens $7.1 million.

Raiders $6.1 million.

Rams $6.0 million.

Eagles $5.8 million.

Colts $5.4 million.

Vikings $4.5 million.

Chargers $4.3 million.

Saints $4.2 million.

Lions $2.9 million.

Texans $2.4 million.

Falcons $2.3 million.

Panthers $2.3 million.

Steelers $750,000.

Giants $70,000.

I watched the Eagles shortcut last night. They played a mix of zone and man against the 49ers.

For some reason when they went man, Asomugha was matched up against Josh Morgan most of the time...not Crabtree. Strange. Two balls were thrown to Morgan when Asomugha was covering him, both incomplete.

Asoumugha covered Crabtree man twice, and was beaten once for a huge gain.

He covered Vernon Davis once, and Davis was open on a crossing pattern but Smith was under pressure and the pass was behind Davis.

There were balls thrown his way during zone coverage, with a mixture of completions and incompletions.

While Asomugha's tackling skills are not good (not unusual for a cornerback...they can't all be Antoine Winfield!), he did make a really nice play in the first quarter catching Gore from behind on what was a huge gain, but could have been a TD. Dude has really long arms!
