Not to take anything away from the Ravens, but unless Tom Brady is out with the Swine Flu...the Patriots are going to the SuperBowl. We shall see.

And once again, I'd like to thank your Michigan Wolverines for Mr. Brady! :)

Early forecasts for Championship Sunday:

Foxboro 3pm ET- sunny, 41*

San Francisco 3:30pm PT- rain, 51*

No, you are putting down a QB, that I don't like, who is better than any QB your team has had since maybe Kosar. IMO you are putting him down since he plays for the team that left your city plus they have been winning better there than your team has won since they came back.

"Putting down"? What are we in kindergarten again? It's a discussion Mr. Sensitive. The OP said Flacco was or will be an "elite" QB, to which I disagreed. That opinion carries no bias, it's pretty much a fact.

Oh my goodness, did anybody see NFL Films Presents yet this week? One of the segments was on Myra Kraft. Literally had tears streaming down my face. I can never root against Robert Kraft or the Patriots again. Wow.

Even my husband, who normally remains as composed as most guys, was moved.

Really, no excuse for such disgusting behavior. Been going to the 'stick since the Monte Clark era and personally I have not witnessed 49rs fan harassing fans of the opposing team. Not saying that it doesn't happen. I've seen friendly taunting and a lot drunken brawls/fisticuffs in and out of the park, but mostly amongst stupid 49rs fans themselves. I can assure you with the utmost certainly that the vast majority of 49rs fans like myself doesn't condone this type of behavior. Case of a few extremely rotten apples. Now, Oakland on the other hand is a totally different story. :D

We have friends who went to Green Bay over the weekend, and they could not believe the warmth and generosity of Packer fans. They said they were trying to be their normal obnoxious Jersey selves, but found it to be difficult.

When they started blasting Sinatra's New York, New York in the parking lot, Packer fans came over to sing with them. Packer fans were buying them food at the game. They were invited into people's houses...AFTER the game.

Different world up there...

Brandt or one of the other talking heads for NFLN (and former Green Bay writer or something) on Twitter after the Packers game said he called a friend of his to discuss the loss, and he couldn't chat because they were hosting some Giants fans they'd met at the game over for dinner.

In 2004 we went to see the Patriots play at Kansas City, by far the friendliest visiting stadium I've ever been to.

Patriots are supposed to play in Green Bay in 2014, I am hoping to be able to go. It's on my bucket list.

Andrew Brandt, a Green Bay writer? Actually he was the team Vice President for the Packers from 1999-2008, current NFL Business Analyst for ESPN and now, the President of NFP (National Football Post).

Thanks for the heads up. I fired up my DVR for 3:00 this afternoon on the Deuce.

I'll tell you one thing, if the Pats are fortunate enough to win the Super Bowl in a couple of weeks, Robert Kraft is gonna be a puddle when they present him the Lombardi Trophy.

Same difference :p Knew he had something to do with Green Bay, given his position now I thought he was just a writer :p

Now that I have his name, went and found the Tweet:

Talked to friend in GB after game, asked who was at house. "Some Giants fans from NY we met at the game and invited over." Only in GB.

He's an excellent source for all things financial related to the NFL. I appreciate his insight every Wednesday mornings on Sirius NFL's "The Morning Kickoff"

Also, an excellent follow on Twitter

Actually, the two other segments are also terrific. One is on Tebow, showing where he started, where he's gone and how he got there, and the other is a long montage of the best video of NFL Films for the season. Always well done!

Ed Reed calls out Flacco....

Speaking on Sirius XM yesterday, Reed said Flacco was "rattled" by the Texan's defense and "just didn't look like he had a hold on the offense." He continued, "the offensive line gotta block better.... they gotta communicate better, gotta pick up blocks and Joe's gotta get the ball out of his hand."

Flacco on Reed's comments: "It caught me off guard. I talked to Ed about it."

Uh oh. Drama in Rat Bird Nation!!!

Championship Sunday facts and figures......

Conference Championship Records:

* this will be the 8th Championship Sunday appearance for the Patriots, tying them for third in the AFC with the Broncos (Steelers 15, Raiders 11)

* The Giants at 4-0 are one of two teams that are undefeated on Championship Sunday AND have won more than one conference championship (Bengals 2-0)

* this will be the 9th conference championship hosted by the 49ers, trailing only the Steelers (11).
