After having watched professoinal hockey for more than 40-years (and played competitively for 14), I can only concluse these refs are on the take and throwin the game. Gotta say, if the officials could learn how to do a basic function as dropping the puck.
I would guess that there may have been what, 80 faceoffs in the game, I bet they kicked a player out on 50 of them, they did finally start throwing out the SJ guys towards the end.

Then if Detrot could remember how to WIN one that would help, they wouldn't be doing the chasing all night ....
Now I know what it feels like for most of the other teams when the Wings control the puck for most of the game.

Detroit played well tonight- can't fault Howard for the two goals- but their only goal was scored by a defenseman. Their big guns didn't fire tonight- Thornton and Marleau did.

P.S. Whoever called Wings in 5- nice pick. You got the wrong team.
