Great ..... Wings were shorthanded in SJ for a whole period with 6 minutes of 5-3 killing, now the Sharks get another .....
When the Sharks went ahead big the other night in SJ, the Wings didn't get the calls in the third, but with the Sharks down big, they are getting 5-3's ....

I only hope the Bruins can wrap it up tomorrow night, and get some much needed rest awaiting the Pens-Habs winner!
This Bruin playoff run is what I like to call a 'one year later' playoff run. (The year after a powerful team has a playoff run ended earlier than expected, they come back the next year and go deeper)
If anything, this B's team is making a spring run that many expected lfrom last year's juggernaut.
(It's easy for some to forget how absolutely frighteningly awesome the Bruins were a year ago)

Detroit is a scarier team than Philly.
The Red Wings are experienced winners- the Flyers are notorious playoff teases.
Besides, if I had a dollar for every time I've seen a team avoid a sweep and lose the fifth game, I'd be as rich as Ryan Howard.

Originally it was credited to Franzen, but it actually went in off Burtuzzi's leg, so Franzen got the assist.
Hmmmm, With the way the Wings lost thier last few games, I never saw them lose thier cool and start playing Thug hockey.

I think it's because of the size of the lead.
1-2 goal leads are possible to overcome.
Detroit jumped out to the type of lead that is impossible to overcome (5-6 goals).
I'm not saying the Sharks should play goon hockey, but what are they supposed to do- lay down like a welcome mat?

Again, I'm going to say this, I like Bertuzzi, and I'm glad he's on the Wings. Just that guy you want on your team, and not against it.
