2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs

I'm heading to The Joe with my brothers in less than an hour. We'll be sitting in the Legends Club tonight and am I am looking forward to the buffet which, as I understand, will be featuring Shark Fajitas this evening. :)

Go Wings!!!

Shark fajitas? sounds interesting! :hungry:

Have fun!! :)

This OT is HUGE.

Either the Red Wings will have new life, or the Sharks will have a stranglehold on the series.

Well thats quite an understatement :D

IF the Sharks go on to win this series, I hope they play this way in the next round.
Toooo many times, teams play the Wings and have nothing for the next round.

Don't forget, the Wings need to win this game by 2.

They had a clear GOAL taken away early in the game.
It was called a goal on the ICE, they took about 20 minutes to look at is and decided to take it away.
Took them 20 minutes to decide then it's a GOAL.

Sharks win in OT.

Detroit gave the game away- you're up 3-1 in the third, about to get back in the series, and you allow them to get back in.

(The game-tying goal- Howard should have had that)

How shocked are you guys that the Sharks are up 3-0?

I'm not .....

Sharks were the # 1 team in the conference.

I said Howard played well in game 2.

He looked good at times in game 3... but that game-tying goal was a softie, IMO. He should have had that.

Yes he gave up a bad goal, however he made some GREAT saves to keep them in it.

Mid way thru the third he made a HUGE save and played well for most of the game.

He had NO PRAYER on the game winner.

There were MANY defensive breakdowns including the tying goal.

Sharks earned it, can't say I like what I saw from the Wings in that third period, are these guys really that tired?

They looked dead in the third, sitting back and letting the play come to them.

We were able to find a way to get it done, and we just didn't have what it takes to hold on to it.

This is all i have to say besides I was on TV when talking to my brother in O/T about 13:52 left.

Wow, except for the fact that we are in the second round of the playoffs, this sounds like a Ranger game! Your goalie makes a ton of saves and is basically the reason your team is in the game, yet he lets in a softie that costs your team the game at the same time.

Ranger forums rage the next day arguing over whether Lundqvist is great or terrible. But I submit that you do not know what 'MANY defensive breakdowns' truly means until you watch a Ranger game...

Too bad Zetterberg didn't get it in on that penalty shot - golden opportunity there. Helluva stick save by Howard early in the 1st.

Something to add to my sports bucket list: see a playoff game at the Joe. :)

The Bruins are going to take a 3-0 series lead against Philly.

It's hard to fathom that a team that was plagued with injuries, was fighting for their playoff lives in March, and had some serious scoring woes is likely going to advance to the East Finals, going farther than last year's powerhouse team.
