Should have been 4-1, but like I said the Wings were required to win by 2, Zetterberg's goal should have counted, you are allowed to deflect the puck with your skate.
He deflected the puck, not kick it.
Better hurry, I don't expect the Joe to be around much longer.Too bad Zetterberg didn't get it in on that penalty shot - golden opportunity there. Helluva stick save by Howard early in the 1st.

Zetterberg had a legit point about the disallowed goal- nevertheless, he should have made that penalty shot. When he missed it, I had a feeling that could be a crucial moment.
Absolutely if was a very big moment, that would have been a three goal lead I think.

On the disallowed goal Zetterberg saw the puck coming, turned his left skate and kicked the puck, he then tried to kick it again with his right but the puck was too far from him.

From the 70 different angles they showed, NONE of them showed him actually kicking the puck.
They showed the puck being deflected with the skate, which is entirely legal.
You have looked at it as kicking at it when actually he was still moving, thus your thinking he kicked it in.

Sharks are faster and apply steady pressure.
Wings applied plenty of pressure the other night as well, it was the amount of pressure that lead to the game winning goal.

Sharks PP coming up, I would think this would be HUGE for them to get on the board and start to shift the ice back to level.

You are correct, I was also thinking how close they were from being tied at 2 (with tonight being a win.)
I noticed very early in the first period that it appeared that the Wings were winning the Defensive zone face offs and that makes a HUGE difference.
Just explain to me, how the 2nd LEAST penalized team all year long goes to the MOST penalized team in the playoffs? lady bing winner my ass.
With the way the calls are going right now, I just hope 6-0 is big enough lead today.

I have a question, I must have missed it, but there was a Wings penalty late in the intermission and the Sharks scored, why do the Sharks still have a PP going ?
