2010 NCAA Football Season

It was merely an observation of a match-up between two perennial conference cellar-dwellars...although Northwestern has experienced some succes the past few years. I agree that both schools are well-coached, play above-the-board, and continue to stress academics over athletics. It's too bad so many others programs have forgotten this fact. Perhaps the NCAA and the lure of national television and sponsorship dollars are to blame. Personally, I would love to see the NCAA abolish the BCS, go back to playing traditional bowl games, and enforce higher academic standards across-the-board.
Academics has no place in football!!!!!!!!!!:rant::rant::rant::D

Kidding aside, LSU can't afford to slip-up at Vandy.

If Les Miles is getting skewered for a game in which the Tigers WON, how ugly could it get if they lose in Nashville?

Les Miles is the only problem LSU has. That man is thanking the higher powers that Houston Nutt is coaching in the SEC last weekend.

Oh yeah, joke I heard.

How many batteries does it take to shock Houston Nutt? 1 AA. LMAO I rule. lol

IMHO, Bama's first challenge of the season will not be against Florida, but rather Arkansas.

I think Penn St is going to give them a handful..I predict a close game - close enough it could go either way. I've said it in the past that I don't see a undefeated team playing for the National Championship this year.

I think it will be this week. Too many people are writing off Penn State.
I am not saying we wont win, even decisively, but this one wont be a cake walk. (although I hope it is....:D)

Based on your prediction this past week, I feel alot better:p:D

My dream scenario for the season:

Miami - beats OSU, loses to Pitt, loses to VTech, beats FSU
FSU - beats OU, beats Fla
PSU - beats Alabama (or Bama loses to Fla), loses to OSU
OU - beats TX
TX - beats Neb
Unlikely that anyone in Pac-10 is going undefeated (Or Oregon State wins the PAC)
Boise, TCU or Utah run the table.

Then sit back and watch the BCS honchos sweat and try to justify why either Boise or TCU/Utah are not deserving of a national championship game (or both for that matter).
