2010 NBA Playoffs

And I totally agree.....but you have said MANY TIMES in here that 'numbers don't lie'.

Not what I said, but whatever, I'm not taking your bait.

No reason to argue about this, if you want to think Lebron's stat line means he had a hell of a game, you go right ahead.

A lot of us disagree, and we are all entitled to our opinion.

Sandra

Totally agree, Bill. If Rasheed is such a huge Flyer fan, he can wear the hat in his house...though he probably didn't. ;)
Sandra

Exactly!! :up

I highlighted the last part, because that's how I and many others feel (no proof.......just a gut feeling).

YES, with exception to Game 3, I didn't recognize the guy wearing #23 for the Cavs. I'm telling you Salsa. Trust me.

You guys are killing me....

So...Game 1...he has 35pts-7rebs-7assist ....and he is OFF?
...Game 2...he has 24-7-7....and he is off?
...game 3...he has 38-7-7...and he is ON?
...game 4..he has 22-9-9 ...he is off....hell, I will give you that one.
...game 5..he has 15-6-7...he is off, I can give you that one too.
...game 6..he has 27-19-10.....and he is off?

And one more thing....when they were up 2-1 after that ass whippin' they gave the Celtics in Boston...why didn't you mention this then?! WHY, because it all went down hil after they were plastered in Cleveland....NOT BEFORE.

Actually, I DID start hinting at warning signs of the way LeBron was playing from Game 1 and we even won that game! The criticisms got louder and louder as my observations didn't go away as the series went on. Go back and read for yourself. This was my first post immediately following Game 1.......

LeBron looked tentative in the first half. It took him a while to trust his elbow and play his game.

Why are you debating this? If he wants to think Lebron had a great series, let him.

Sandra

I understand that, but IMO, that was not a very cool thing to do in the city you're employed in..........................

Sorry, but I am not going to let my employer tell me who I can and cannot be fans of.

..and besides that....It's Rasheed folks. I guy that is a couple of beers short of a 6 pack. Do you REALLY and TRULLY think he will ever behave. Bill, there is NO REASON why you should be surprised by anything he does.;)

Question. And I'm not trying to be a jerk, but did you watch every minute of every game of this series? I don't know how you could've watched these games and NOT use one of the following to describe LeBron's play:

Tentative
Unaggressive
Passive
Sloppy

He didn't drive to the hole as much as we're used to. He didn't take as many outside shots as he normally does. He deferred to teamates. He turned the ball over 30 times throughout this series. I'm not laying 100% of the blame on LeBron. I actually don't even like criticizing him right now. What's done is done, but the fact of the matter is this: There was something not right about LeBron's game this past week and a half.

One last thing about Rasheed Wallace:

During last night's presser, he was wearing the cap of- all teams- the Philadelphia Flyers!!

He's been taking heat for this here this morning, and I can see why.

Wearing a Yankees cap RIGHT NOW would have caused less of an uproar.

I understand your aggravation. In 2007, LeBron wore a Yankee hat to Jacob's Field when the Indians opened against the Yankees in the first round of the playoffs. A lot of people were turned off by that too.

I believe that LeBron will stay in Cleveland:

#1- The Knicks have nothing to me that screams out "We can contend." Remember, Mike D'Antoni doesn't know what defense is, and LeBron has made all-defensive team. It wouldn't be a good match.

#2- Chicago is a divisional rival. Plus, after the whole Joakim Noah 'Cleveland Comment Controversy,' I can't see it happening.

so you have NEVER said 'numbers don't lie'?
thats true. numbers usually tell the whole story but they really don't in this case.

Sorry, but I am not going to let my employer tell me who I can and cannot be fans of.
agreed. i hate when i hear bs like this. its only sports. let people be fans of who and what they want. give me a freakin break.

i couldn't have said it better. thats exactly the way i saw it and feel about it. i was very disappointed especially with what i saw with a little over a minute left in the game when the whole team gave up and didn't even try to foul. just gave up. you were down 9 points, not 20. that was pretty much an indication of how things felt the last two games. he did not imo leave it all on the floor. if it was because he is hurt or not we'll find out soon enough.

I think Lebron is out because after all, this is Cleveland we're talking about - - not the luckiest sports town.

Anyone (Salsa) who thinks Lebron had a good series needs to have their eyes checked.

Sandra

NOW your doing the usual MO and putting words in my mouth.

I NEVER STATED he had a "great series"....NO WHERE will you find that and I challenge ANYONE to find this mysterious post. I QUESTIONED that Lebron play went from having a few games that he was off to supposedly the ENTIRE series, he was off. And disagree with that statement. I can see where he had 2 games off, hell, I throw in a 3rd....

i thought this at first but after the last two games and lebrons non care attitude i'm beginning to have doubts.

THIS is what happens when Sandra put words in other peoples mouths.

let me REPEAT THIS AGAIN....................

I DID NOT, at ANY TIME state or even insinuated that he had a "GREAT SERIES".

I questioned the fact that at 1st, it was mentioned that he was "off" on a few games....THEN it went to he was "off" for the entire series....and that just is not true.

IF you guys are gonna call me out...get your SH** straight.

Its not a trade Sabre. IF...and it is still an IF....IF he leaves, Cleveland will have no say so where he goes. And what Noah said has nothing to do with business.
