2010 NBA Playoffs

Watching the Thunder vs the Lakers last night was like watching the little brother play the big brother, when the big brother is annoyed and decides NOTHING is going to work for the little brother. Total domination.

As I said, I'll believe the Thunder can beat the Lakers in LA only when I see it. Without the home crowd, without the benefit of the calls, the Thunder just looked frantic.

The Thunder can win game six, but game seven could be a totally different story.

I really do not know what to say about the series. They played tough and were out of only one game. The Series showed that when Wade had help, and that was only one game, from the 2nd leading scoring on the team...Mr. Beasley, they can compete AND win.

Watch the HEAT then watching the BULLS/CAVS....I saw why the HEAT and Pat Reilly so desperately wanted to Derrick Rose. That kid, in 2 years will be THE BEST point guard in the league and it won't even be close. THAT kid with a BIG time free agent in Chicago(MAYBE Wade? Who knows....) will SERIOUSLY compete with the CAVS and Orlando for the Eastern Conefernce title. IF they were to get Wade, they win it.

Because of my dislike for both the CAVS and the CELTICS, I doubt I will watch that series. BUT, it will be a good series, none the less.

Id love for it to be the Hawks.. Get a nice in state rivalry going on. We had it briefly when Shaq played their, but at the time the magic sucked anyway so it wasnt really a fight.

I think the Alltime best playoff rivalry/series was the Magic vs the Pacers for the Eastern Conference title. It got so bad officials had to ban Pin Wheels from fans during the games, as each arena tried to out do the other in distracting the other team. It was brutally fun

Am I the only one not getting this? A nice in state rivalry with an out of state team? You had it briefly when Shaq played where?

Well, when you have to ban pin wheels, that's serious stuff!

Following the game, LeBron said periodically throughout this series, his right arm would go numb (like it does when it falls asleep). At the end of the game, he had to shoot a free-throw with his left hand. Obviously this is not good. I hope he's ok.
James' elbow has it's own Twitter account and says all is fine:

Please tell the Cavalier nation I am fine. LeBron is sleeping and I am playing Call of Duty. I will be ready for Boston.

You don't watch much pro ball, do you?! LMAO!

Either that or you failed Geography class when you were 12 years old. ;) :D

LeBron Elbow Update

For those unfamiliar with LeBron's fascination with the dramatic, he spoke about his elbow last night after the game. From the real LeBron....

"I'm not concerned. Fans don't have any reason to panic."

Also, LeBron's elbow has been flaring up all throughout the playoffs, yet he's shown no sign of it effecting him. Case and point: Sunday -- the game where he had 37 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists on 13-of-19 shooting -- he had it examined. He was at the Cleveland Clinic on Monday and got an MRI and an X-ray.The results were "unremarkable." In other words, there is nothing significantly wrong.

What about the left-handed free throw, you ask?

Well, it would be interesting to get LeBron away from microphones on that one. It didn't make much sense why he did that, especially since he'd made a free throw shooting right handed less than a minute beforehand. He may have been caught in creating a little drama there. He said after the game he knew the game was safe because there were seven seconds left and the Cavs had a four-point lead.

I'm guessing he is talking about the Heat, not sure why, but I think he is talking about Miami, per usual.

That makes no sense either because....

A) The Heat got eliminated by the Celtics who will be now facing the Cavs, not the Magic. and....

B) Shaq doesn't play for the Heat, he plays for the Cavs. And Cleveland is not in the same state as Orlando. (Pro's team). and....

C) Atlanta & Milwaukee, both possible next round opponents for the Magic aren't in the same state as Orlando either. Shaq never played in Atlanta or Milwaukee either.

Sorry forgive me, I had Salsa and the Heat on my mind.. Hey both teams start with the letter H and both are in the south ;)...

Ok, Shaq and Ohio both have an H in them, and Miami and Massachusetts start with M.

And and and boston has an O. so there. connections made. Also, Dwayne wade wore #3.

See where I'm going here?!?! Huh, I bet you do, right!

So move Detroit to Toledo and trade shaq there, and now you got the instate thing and something else too.

But still, if you only paid attention.:D

edit: just for the record, i want what the The Insider has.
