2010 NBA Playoffs

NBA's Most Loyal Fans Reside in...... Cleveland, Ohio!

With the 2009-10 NBA regular season officially over, ratings have been released for all of the markets and broadcasting channels. Per Sports Media Watch the Cavaliers and Fox Sports Ohio drew a rating of 8.59, the top rating of all NBA teams.

Fox Sports Ohio’s Communications department has the figure reported as 8.55, a rating that is still good enough for best in the NBA for the second consecutive season.

So after LeBron leaves they will then go from first to worst. ;)

Tomorrow's game at Staples could be the last for the world champs.. well, maybe next year huh LOL

I can see OKC sweep them after 0-2 start the way they playing. OKC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nah, the Lakers will get all the calls in Staples. OKC won't get to the line as often tonight. The NBA league office wouldn't stand for OKC taking the Lakers out of the playoffs.

That said, "GO THUNDER!" See you back here Friday night.

The definition of loyalty is not how well you draw when you have the best record in the league. Show me good ratings and good attendance when the team is down, and I will agree you have loyal fans. I don't think you can do that.

You can question our sanity, but even when the New York Rangers missed the playoffs seven years in a row, they still sold out every game. We didn't sell out in 1994 when we won the Stanley Cup, and then stop going to games when the going got tough. We were there because we love our team in both good times AND bad.

That's loyalty. ;)

I'm actually surprised at how competitive this series is. I would've though the Hawks would have no problem with the Deer, but that's not the case.

Every team plays better at home than on the road, but the Hawks are like Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Heckle. The really look like they are not into it on the road...almost disinterested. Strange.

Anyone realize the playoffs are 9 days old & yet it is still possible seeds 5, 6, 7 & 8 could win the series' in West? It's crazy how open the West is right now.

Personally, I'll need to see the Thunder actually win a game in LA before I believe it. I'm rooting for them, but I would like to see them play with the same intensity on the road.

The Nuggets have not been the same without George Karl. And Deron Williams is outplaying Chauncey Billups by a wide margin. Williams needs to be mentioned more when you are talking about the best point guards in the league. Without his injury during the season they may have been seeded higher.

The Suns seem to have righted the ship last night. I love watching Nash and Stoudemire, it will be a shame if it's their last season together.

San Antonio is a very strange seven seed. It's almost like Popovich played possum waiting for the playoffs. Dallas seriously came unraveled Sunday night during the Spurs' 20-2 run. Kidd and Barea turned the ball over, Dirk could not shake Jefferson and got frustrated, the whole team just fell apart. Game five should very interesting.

Intensity? The Thunder only lost game two by two points in LA, with a missed shot at the buzzer.

Wasn't it three points? That's actually a big difference if you are talking buzzer-beater. The intensity the Thunder played with in LA led them to a loss. Don't count on another 3-15 night from Derek Fisher, either.

They need to play like they did in OKC if they want to win. They will not have their amazing crowd revving them up, and they will not get the calls they got in Oklahoma.

I do hope they win though, would set up an amazing game six.

And don't count on zero points from James Harden. I'm hoping he shows up tonight and plays the way he did in games 3 & 4. If he does, the Thunder win by double digits.

Maybe. James Harden is a rookie who has played two road playoff games in his life, Derek Fisher is a playoff veteran who once walked off a plane and made it to a playoff game at halftime when he was playing with the Jazz, and started hitting threes. Cannot compare the two.

That said, here's hoping Harden plays well and the Thunder takes it to the Lakers. :up
