I don't think they are the same woman. They do sound alike, but yesterday's announcer was Pam Ward, who is a Maryland grad.

WHY are there BOWL games that don't START till 10 PM ?
2 games I have wanted to watch have started at 10 so far. UGH.

All I have to say is this UNC vs Tenn game is one wild ass game!! Tenn is getting away with a bunch of 15yard penalty hits but that confusion at the end of the game with everyone running on the field again just seems to follow Tenn.

Good thing it was not the NFL. Game would have been over with the penalty at the end.
How did they get away with a bunch. There was one that possibly could have been called. They had at least 3 personal fouls called on them toward the end. Doesn't sound like they got away with a bunch.
I'm surprised that NC didn't end up with a "Too many men on the field" on the last play of regulation as well.
I thought about the 10 sec run off too, then realized that was a NFL rule only.
They did end up with the penalty for too many men on the field. They moved them back 5 yards for the field goal attempt.
I thought that penalty was for something else, guess not.
At this point, it doesn't matter !
poor Dooley, this season was one train wreck after another. Kiffin left him nothing but shambles. Hopefully he get things together next year.
My sentiments exactly. And to have to compete with the fact that your Daddy is a legend? Not sure I would coach any SEC team, given that to live up to.
(Yankees should think of being Woody Hayes son and coaching at Michigan or Purdue.) Was a pretty good game, overall, and at least it now appears that UT has a future.

How much does a call like that go for now? You know which call I am talking about, the one that sealed the game.
Seriously, after all the celebrating that went on during that game BY Syracuse, the lame-assed call made in their favor looked anything but legit. Thankfully, that officiating crew will be picked on and made fun of by sports shows, web-sites, and papers all over the world for a long time. Hell, even syracuse.com has an article on there saying, yep it was bad, but in 1994 the same thing happened to us. Hows that for a stab at rationalization?
As the officials are hardly volunteers for these games, they could at least attempt to do a much better job of calling the games. The BIG10 should be embarrassed by these clowns.

Not a good start for the U. Penalties are rearing their ugly head and the defense keeps bailing NDs offense out.
GOD oh mighty...Wipple is killing the U. This piece of sh** OC clearly see this team is a running team and CONTINUES to force a passing game.
