2010-11 NFL Season

Couple of thoughts on today:

1. A lot will be made about the call at the end of Steelers-Dolphins, but Miami settled for too many field goals before that. Had they been a bit more aggressive on offense, it may not come down to that play.

I agree 100%! thats what i was saying during the game. so many redzone opportunities and miami couldn't capitalize properly. I detest field goals!!!!

I don't see the issue in that circumstance. It is easier to review two feet, and replay is from the booth in that situation so it is no big deal
I think the point is that while there are obvious benefits to replay (getting the call correct), it has made the officials a little lazy in getting the calls right the first time knowing they will be reviewed anyway.

I wonder if there are repercussions for an official whose call is overturned by replay??

The officials with fewer mistakes are assigned playoff games/super bowl

That was my point and I agree 100%!

You coming to watch the Steelers play the Patriots? I figure you would come in four weeks when they play the Raiders.

Week 8 @ New Orleans

Week 9 @ Bungles

Week 10 Patriots

Week 11 Raiders

Pittsburgh Steelers | Season Schedule

Thanks Cy! I have been getting my dates wrong with the Raiders all year. First, I thought their bye week was week 4....now this. Sorry, still delirious from yesterday...

Denver was worse than the maggot, on the turds, that the Donkeys shat yesterday!

We left before half time, right after Orton fumbled the ball away. Should have left after his first interception. (First play of the game)

Patriots are 5-1, but have the teeth of their schedule coming up.

The good news: other than Pittsburgh, most of their toughest games (at least on paper) are in Foxboro.

Home games remaining:
Minnesota
Indianapolis
NY Jets
Green Bay
Miami

Road games remaining:
Cleveland
Pittsburgh
Detroit
Chicago
Buffalo

Looks like 5 road wins to me. Especially Thanksgiving day. Cleveland used up their miracle yesterday.

Looks like 4-1 on the road to me and 3-2 at home.
