You coming to watch the Steelers play the Patriots? I figure you would come in four weeks when they play the Raiders.

Couple of thoughts on today:

1. A lot will be made about the call at the end of Steelers-Dolphins, but Miami settled for too many field goals before that. Had they been a bit more aggressive on offense, it may not come down to that play.

I agree 100%! thats what i was saying during the game. so many redzone opportunities and miami couldn't capitalize properly. I detest field goals!!!! :rant:

It was poor playing overall on both sides.

I don't see the issue in that circumstance. It is easier to review two feet, and replay is from the booth in that situation so it is no big deal

I think the point is that while there are obvious benefits to replay (getting the call correct), it has made the officials a little lazy in getting the calls right the first time knowing they will be reviewed anyway.

I wonder if there are repercussions for an official whose call is overturned by replay??

The officials with fewer mistakes are assigned playoff games/super bowl

They've had a tough early schedule, but wow San Diego is in quite the hole. Same record as Denver, but 0-2 in the division, 0-4 on the road hurts.

The good news: other than Pittsburgh, most of their toughest games (at least on paper) are in Foxboro.
