2010-11 NFL Season

IF you are one of the main cogs in helping the team to win...why not bitch and ask why I am not being used? And I am sure that IF they gave him and any other player a LEGIT reason why they are not being used....more than likely that would end that.

You're a baseball coach, right? Do you encourage the me-first bitching mentality on your team over the Team first aspect?

Don't you think that was the topic of the "discussion" Moss had with the QB coach??

Coaches coach and players play. Coaches don't owe a player an explanation on why or why not they're being used. Especially if they're coming up with a winning scheme week in and week out.

The face of Denver sports? Make mine Tulo - The Denver Post

In case you missed it

If you want to know why there are so many Raider Haters (including Yours Truly), check out this NFL note from the New York Times:

"Why is it that you can't go into a sports bar anywhere in the country on an NFL Sunday without seeing a Raiders fan, yet few of them seem interested in going to their games in person?"

In case you missed it, the woeful Raiders (1-3) packed in a crowd of 32,218 at the Oakland Coliseum for their 31-24 loss to the Texans on Sunday. That meant the stadium was only half full, or half empty, depending on your point of view.

According to the Times, it was the smallest crowd to attend a non-replacement Raiders game since 1967 — back in the days of the old AFL.

According to Statistics LLC, the Raiders' crowd was the smallest for an NFL game in any city since the Cardinals lured 31,650 to their regular-season finale against the Buccaneers in the 2004 season.

Oh, by the way, Sunday's game marked the ninth straight time a Raiders game was blacked out on local television.

The fans are losers just like the team!

Yet another ridiculous statement from this guy. Why are you guys even in discussion with him about this?

It's an argument you can't win, even though you're right. There is no reasoning with him. I would think you would have learned that by now. ;)

Apples and Oranges my friend. YES, they are a team sport, but the dependency on your start is different because you star can ONLY do great things when he is either AT BAT or there is a defensive play involves him.

Seriously? Every guy who thinks he's a main cog in helping a team to win should bitch if he doesn't like how he is being used?

Sandra

LMAO....are you THAT NAIVE to think they don't ALREADY talk about this just because it does not appear on the front page of the newspaper or the first statement out of the sportcasters mouth when it is his turn?

And by the way, Randy Moss and anyone of THAT caliber of athlete does not only THINK he is a main cog, he is told every single day by his coaches, teammates, management AND the media he is the main cog.

Please do not prentend you do not knows this because then I would say, "This is over the top, even for YOU!"

And if you really don't like the comments...I welcome you to put me on ignore.

You actually believe that? LOL! Ok, you are entitled to believe what you so choose...;)

This has got to be a joke. Yaz is right, this whole discussion is ridiculous. You can't even follow this post, the grammar alone is just bizarre.

OK then, try this:

Put yourself in Belichick's hoodie. Your team has just won a big division game on the road, rather convincingly.

Are you saying you would welcome one of your top players having a hissy fit a halftime and blowing you off on the plane ride back home??

How would you handle the situation?? Don't say you would give him a "a LEGIT reason why they are not being used" because you know that doesn't work!!

Don't forget, the key to this is that your TEAM won!! I guess I could see rationalizing this kind of behavior if your TEAM lost....

Wow. Just wow. Well you set the bait and some of us took it...and we wind up with posts like this. It's our own fault.

But, Randy Moss is not the main cog. Brady is, and he sure doesn't act or have acted like Moss did.

Don't forget they were trailing at half 7-6 though.

The Patriots have looked into the possibility of dealing for Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson, a source confirmed Thursday night.

Talks are preliminary at this point, but the idea of the Patriots acquiring Jackson in exchange for Logan Mankins is in play.

Mankins and Jackson are in identical contractual situations. They are restricted free agents in their fifth seasons in the league. Had the expiring CBA not intervened, both would have been free agents last offseason. Both men have opted to sit out rather than play for their tender offers.
