2010-11 NFL Season

I find it strange that here is a FOR SURE HOF on your team....and at 30-something, STILL one of the 10 best WR in the game...and you only throw ONE BALL his way?

Can someone please explain THAT one to me?

Yes the 30 something fist ballot HOF 3 time Superbowl winning quarterback decided it was better to keep the ball underneath that night and low and behold that guy, Tom Brady knows what the **** he is doing, unlike the no ringed diva wide receiver.

I get it, it was Randy's fault in Oakland But, Belichick's and Brady's fault in New England. Got it:rolleyes:

That is somewhat of a bullsh** rule. He should bitch. Would the same have been said if Brady bitched that the PATS are not throwing the ball?

It's simple to me, if you have GREAT resources...and Randy Moss, the FOOTBALL PLAYER is a still a great resource....then use them.

Why did he have only 9 or so catches going into the game before the Dolphins game?

It's about winning not about stats.

"Stats are for losers"- Bill Belichik 12/04/09

Pretty much nails that post.

Huge difference between Bill Belicheck and Brad Childress lol.

Sandra

yeah Childress dont cheat to win :p

And the point I was making was the Viking WR core is so depleted right now that any WR we pick up would probably be better than what we had already

Yes, every player should bitch if they don't get the ball thrown to them enough, don't carry the ball enough, etc. The heck with the team concept.

Sandra

IF you are one of the main cogs in helping the team to win...why not bitch and ask why I am not being used? And I am sure that IF they gave him and any other player a LEGIT reason why they are not being used....more than likely that would end that.

Shows you what a moron Marvin Harrison is. Sitting there year after year, doing his job whether the ball is thrown his way or not, without complaint. What a loser.

Sandra

Maybe it was never let out that he DID/has complain. Maybe Marvin Harrison has privately gone to coaches and asked....do you know FOR A FACT that he has not?You are ONLY assuming he didn't. I am very sure that some team are alot better at handling INTERNAL "dirty laundy" than others.

I'm no Moss fan, but how can any team pay $9 million a year for a decoy? It makes about as much sense as paying Haynesworth more than that to play back for the run. Moss should have been moved, if for no other reason than for football to make more efficient use of this still capable receiver.

Don't get me wrong; you want every guy on your team to want the ball more, or want more playing time, but when he complains publicly about it after a win, it puts himself above the team and just makes him look petty and selfish.

WHERE are you getting I stated it was anyone's fault? I am simply asking, IF he is one of THE main threats offensively on your team, why was so little being thrown to him even PRIOR to the Dolphin game....??!! The Dolphin game looks like was the last straw for him.

By the way, Randy Moss is not gonna be a 1st ballot HOFer?

And what does this have to do with Oakland? Or are you pulling THAT out your you-know-what?

In Oakland's case, we had NO ONE to get him the ball. And secondly, when the ONLY threat on the team IS Moss....in many occassions, he was triple teamed because NO ONE else was a threat on offense. AND the team sucked, why WOULDN'T he wanna leave Oakland.

Make sure that if you are gonna talk MY team, get your facts straight....;)

Funny how are you were probably kissing his a$$ when he was gettin' almost 1500 yard recieving and 23 TDs....I didn't see that "stats are for losers" line brought up back then....

...ah yes...the ole "what have you done for me lately" strikes again....LOL!

The Randy Moss drama has overshadowed another big trade....

The Buffalo Jills traded Marshawn Lynch to Seattle for a 4th round pick in 2011 and a conditional pick in 2012. Pretty good value for a former 1st round pick.

I thought that was a very good trade and the Seattle Seahawks needed a runner.

Did not say ANYTHING about whether they were winning or not....

It just seems that there are alot of big name stars in their professional teams seem to have issue with the management. That is all....;)
But, you gotta admit that winning normally cuts down on the complainers. Usually in that case those athletes are putting their goals over the team's.

The only other guy that comes to mind is obviously Manny Ramirez. I'm trying to think of someone else who had a public "issue with the management". You said there were "alot", who else am I missing??

I said there "seemed to be alot"...maybe I was wrong, these are the ones I came up with:

Manny Ramirez
Randy Moss
Roger Clemens

Those are the more notable ones AND I do not follow hockey, so I do not know if there has been any issues with the Bruins.

Seriously? Every guy who thinks he's a main cog in helping a team to win should bitch if he doesn't like how he is being used? This is over the top, even for YOU!
