I have them taking down your vaunted Lakers this season.
Dallas and Utah simply can't beat the Lakers. OKC is a year or two away still

Miami's interior D is a joke. Don't say we didn't warn ya, Heat fans. How would you even dream of stopping Pau and Bynum?
I was glad to see that Shaq only had two personal fouls. The first thing that goes with Hall of Fame centers is their ability to move sideways, and it forces them to foul. Near the end of their careers, David Robinson and Akeem Olijuan played on defense like their feet were in cement.
I'm pretty sure that the Celtics can still use Rasheed Wallace's contract to circumvent the salary cap to add one more veteran shooting guard to their bench. The problem is what is $6.9 million in cap space worth to any team when a strike is looming?
Celts project to 82-0
Heat project to 0-82
Could be a long season in Miami
Nice post! I'm also excited to get back to some basketball...I just wish my Cavs were in better shape. I don't share your optimism. The Cavs are going to be cellar-dwellers and the team will be blown up around the trade deadline.1. The Cavaliers, a team some are writing off after the departure of He Who Shall Be Hated From Here On Out, will finish with a winning record. Whether it's because I like HDMM a lot or because that division is no murderers row, I think they'll surprise a lot of people. I think they'll do no worse than third in that division.
Yeah, you may not be a role model, Lebron, but you made damn sure the entire sports world was focused directly on you and THE DECISION for one week in July.
Sandra
You’ve probably seen LeBron James’ new, ‘What should I do?” Nike spot. You probably liked it and bought it. I don’t.
And to answer the question, what should you do; you should have just apologized for the decision and for jamming Cleveland as hard as you did. It would have saved you a ton of abuse and Nike a lot of time and money producing and running this spot. Then again, in order to apologize, usually, you have to be sorry, and you’re not.
Strictly hypothetical question:
If say, Paul Pierce gets into a fight with LeBron tonight, does Pierce get a standing O at the Q tomorrow night?
Before I watched the new LeBron commercial I thought he was a DB.
After watching I think LeBron is a bigger DB.
In the town of "brujeria"(latin witchcraft), "santeria"(sort of like heavy worshiping of "saints") and Carribean woodoo(from Haiti, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Virgin Islands)....and all they got is one measly witch doctor from some little hick town in Ohio??!! Please......LOL!
Well.....Things are different because back then, as in Cleveland...if you did a "reasonable" job on Lebron...you had a better than 50-50 chance of stopping anyone else on the Cavs. Face it, it was ALL about Lebron. The ENTIRE offense was based on him. Not in Miami. THE "x-factor" for the HEAT and the entire league will be..."ok, we relatively slowed down Lebron and Bosh with our main 2 guys....ok...who will cover Wade...."
Boston's advantage is height. But most of their height is older...slower. CAN experience OUTPLAY age....?
Man this season is gonna be fun.....:up
