2009 MLB Playoffs

Well, the Dodgers didn't take advantage of the only rally they had all game. Looks like the series will be tied 1-1

This means that the Cards now have homefield advantage as it is now a best of 3 game series with 2 of the 3 games in St. Louis.

I still think this series goes 5.

It looks like we have a very good chance of three LDS series going the distance this year.

Heading down to the game now. Just wanted to say to Bill, cosmo and all the Boston fans that I hope it's a hard fought, well-umpired, and above all a well-played series.

May the best team win!:hatsoff:

How close do you live? It takes me 2 hours to go 40 miles to Dodger stadium.

Have fun.

You're looking at it as the glass if half empty; be a half full guy and say, what a wonderful way to win! :p
Holliday played that ball like he'd been watching a Manny Ramierez instructional video. :D Consider yourselves lucky. Now can the Dodgers close this series any better than they did the division?

Man, oh man, do I feel for Matt Holliday.

So painful.
Reminds me of when Greg Luzinski failed to catch a ball in the rain at Veterans Stadium against the Dodgers in 77 or 78 and cost the Phillies the playoff series. I think Manny Mota was the batter but not sure about that.

The walk off and come from behind Kings are at again.

Amazing comeback, oh and lets thanks Holliday too for a T-Ball error play.

Wasn't that the same game were Larry Bowa (now the Dodgers 3rd base coach) threw Lopes out at first, but the ump called him safe?

Start the video at 3:15 so you don't have to listen to 3 minutes of the kid talking

Possibly, I was working at Sears and did not see much between customers. I did hear Luzinski's play on the radio. Broke my heart. I had just quit smoking and almost had to have a cigarette to get over it but I settled for one puff and almost choked to death on that. Ah, to be young again. By the way for some reason I get a message saying embedding is disabled and I must watch the video on you tube. I want to watch on my tube not you tube.

Hey DodgerKing, I watched the video. I had no idea you were so young. You did a great job narrating that episode. You have a future in broadcasting. I hope you know I'm kidding. Scully is still better. I am looking forward to another Phillies Dodgers series. Good luck. Geo
