2008 MLB Playoffs

Uh-oh! Lackey left the pitch up high and Jason creamed it.

Sager's thing for years has been his wardrobe going back to the 80's.

Jason Bay hits a homer in his FIRST playoff game.

This guy was held back forever by the pitiful Pirates.

What a difference a team change makes.

Bay must feel like a kid on Christmas. He leaves a lousy team, gets in the playoffs and hits his first playoff homerun.

I'm sure Brian Giles must be kicking himself. This guy decided that he'd rather be in San Diego than be in Boston.

Topsy-turvy day 1 of the playoffs, with the top teams in all of baseball (Cubs and Angels) both losing.

Yup! shows ya you can take stats and records and throw them out the door in the playoffs...along with superstar outfielders who can't run and blow "stop" signs from their coaches!!!!!!sadroll

Well, he should have been out of that second with only one run...but all well. At least they made it in. They are done after tonight though. I am just hoping for a 4th game.

It doesn't look good for the Brewers to even win one game in this series.

Moyer vs. Suppan on Saturday, at least on paper, spells mismatch!

Bill,

I'm surprised you haven't posted more frequently today.

Even on a day your Red Sox are off (Good win, BTW- didn't see it coning), I thought you'd have as many posts as you did over the weekend.

Yeah I know, I've been pretty busy today.

Who's the biggest NFL disappointment so far this season?

Best World Series of all-time?
