2 remotes on on Genie Mini

I am able to get 2 remotes to work on my Genie Gen 2. I can't get 2 remotes to work on one Genie Mini

is there a trick on how to get this work. I have 1 reciever driving upstairs an downstairs tv so I would like to be able to have 2 remotes please help thank you

look at the bottom of the genie mini, and see what model number it is. if it is a C31-X, you need two RC66X or RC66RX remotes to get them programmed. if its a C41, C51, or C61 they use RC7X model remotes.

to get the remotes programmed is pretty easy, press and hold mute + select until the green light at the top flashes twice, then press 9 8 1. this will reset the remote. then press the volume button up or down. a message should appear on screen saying your remote isn't programmed. follow the on screen instructions to program the remote.
