Now everyone can buy Xbox 360 games on Xbox One

At the beginning of the month Microsoft introduced a new Xbox One update for preview members, and it included a number of welcome improvements; most notably the ability to buy Xbox 360 games from the digital store, and an expanded 16-person party chat option. Now those features are available to all Xbox One owners.

The update includes all of the same features as the one preview members have been enjoying since March 1st. In addition to the ability to purchase backwards compatible 360 games and the increased party chat limit (it was previously capped at 12 people), you can also now broadcast party chat audio when you're streaming on the Xbox One Twitch app, as well as record gameplay clips of various length (previously you were restricted to a fixed 30 second limit). There are also a few new minor upgrades as part of the update. Among them, Microsoft says that it has improved the thumbstick precision of its fancy Elite Wireless controller. The update is rolling out to Xbox One owners today.

So as we all know, the original voice of Solid Snake David Hayter was pushed out for Metal Gear Solid 5 in favor of Keifer Sutherland. Many were surprised and dismayed by this. Many also thought that it was yet another stupid case of "Konami is Konami" but it turns out that it was Hideo Kojima himself that was responsible for Hayter being replaced, if this interview with David is to be believed.

Of course now the ongoing joke is going to be that the Ghosts Storyline was never finished. Don't get me wrong, I'd MUCH rather have a drastically different CoD game than continue Ghosts considering how crappy the ending was, but it's always amusing to see a proposed series get its kneecaps shot off right after the first lap.

Looks like we were really close to getting a new Bonk game, but sadly money and managerial problems squashed it.

Has it been that long?

FF XIII came out in 2009
FF XIII-2 came out in 2011
FF XIII-3 came out in 2013

If you want a wait, just look at Kingdom Hearts III.
Yes. Don't forget the game has been through a few changes.

Final Fantasy XV is being developed by a team within Square Enix's 2nd Business Division, and is the first to use the company's Luminous Studio middleware engine. It was originally directed by Tetsuya Nomura, who also designed characters and conceived the concept and base story. In 2014, co-director Hajime Tabata took Nomura's place as director, while Nomura moved on to finish work on Kingdom Hearts III. Final Fantasy XV started production shortly before its announcement in May 2006, under the name Final Fantasy Versus XIII. The game's long development time and absence from the public eye gave rise to several rumors concerning its possible cancellation or shift to another platform. In June 2013, it was eventually revealed to have been renamed and to have switched systems from PlayStation 3 to eighth generation platforms.
