Windows Phone's

No I just choose Windows over other rest and just try to enlighten those who choose to see that there are other options out there is all.
I don't have a problem with this as long as you avoid situations were you have to post follow-ups like post #213. Plans and goals are interesting, but they shouldn't compete with what's already in the marketplace.

I think that PR being too far ahead of the development curve is what has put Blackberry on the cliff.

I knew more than a handful who were solidly behind Apple's Newton as the paradigm shift in personal computing.

Actually, the update is for unlocked phones right now, and appears to not be available in the US yet. Not sure on how the carriers will handle this, if they even have an option, when it comes stateside.

First spotted by a WPCentral reader in Italy, the "Portico" update does not appear to be official here in the United States. It is unclear whether U.S. carriers will issue the same update or if it will include VPN support.

Edit: Just checked for updates on my HTC 8x, and it is not available yet, so the cnet article is confirmed.

Yeah I think this shows that they will be pushing out a update soon. But I really like how they are doing it I just wish Sprint has a WP8 device so I could upgrade my WP7 device. I hope between now and March they will get something if not I will be looking at Verizon but last I read sounds like Sprint will have something next year.

How do you like your HTC 8x?? Looks like a great device and HTC seems to make good hardware. :)

Fantastic phone and OS. It is extremely well built and fluid in operation. I am well pleased.

Cool! Yeah I hope Sprint gets it HTC 8x or the new Samsung Ativ S I don't know until the AT&T deal up if anyone else could get the Nokia 920's. But I like to listen to music and I like the idea of the HTC 8x having the Beats Audio so forth. :)

I stopped and looked at a 920 as well, even though it was not an option since I have Verizon. My two choices were obviously the 8x and the 822. I preferred the HD screen to the one on the 822, but the main thing that made me go that direction was the premium feel of the materials used to build the phone. Its really top knotch in that regard, and it fits well in the hand with the shape of the back and sides.

Still getting a feel for the battery life, reception seems pretty good, and it holds LTE even better than my iphone 5, which surprised me somewhat.

Ill do a better review of the device and OS one I have a little more time spent with it.

Yeah HTC makes nice hardware and more folks are giving the WP8 devices a try and are seeing that there are other options out there that are just as good if not better. Like I said I hope Sprint gets the HTC 8x it will be a great device to offer.

I hate to say it but after playing with my sisters new Nokia 920, it was a pretty nice device. I am not sure that I would upgrade to it but it might be an option down the road.

Yeah I will be glad when Sprint get some WP8 Devices. My 1st choice would be the Nokia 920 and the HTC 8X is a nice device as well plus if you like the Galaxy S3 the Samsung Ativ S should be out soon as well.
