Windows Phone's

[sarcasm mode on]
I'm sure Sprint will make all the difference between losing market share (currently) and gaining market share. Because that was the missing ingredient.

It will help them more than hurt them that's for sure. They have loss subscribers due to being the only carrier not to have the new Win8 phones and Sprint biggest mistake was over paying to get the Iphone. That's what set them back more than anything and it took another company coming in to bale them out to re coop what they paid.

Could you please think rationally for once, instead of thinking that the world revolves around WinPhone 8 and Microsoft?

Sprint is losing subscribers because of a bad decision going back several years that has zero to do with WinPhone8. Heck, it might have been before WinPhone7 was going to be MS' saving grace in the mobile space. Sprint's epic failure was the decision to deploy WiMax instead of LTE as their 4G backbone. Their huge lag behind Verizon and ATT with deploying an LTE network is costing them customers. Take me as an example. I was a 10+ year Sprint subscriber tired of waiting on LTE -- plus poor coverage and bandwidth when I could get WiMax in my area and no commitment to when they would have LTE in my area.

This is why Sprint is losing customers, not WinPhone. Despite your single-handed efforts, WinPhone won't rule the world.

Sprint LTE is another example the billions they spent on getting one device is money they could have used in keeping their network ahead of the game with everyone else. I'm not saying them getting Win8 devices will fix their problems but will not hurt. Sprint in the mess their in due to poor choices they have made over the last year or so like all carriers they should have been spending more money on their network so yes I agree. The WiMax was a bad choice just like over spending on one device was as well. They have let their networks fall behind and now they are in catch up mode. All the carriers deal with the same thing the difference is some of them have better people making better choices on how they do things. Lets hope they take those billions they are getting from Softbank and put it to good use but their in the mess their due to like I have said bad management decision. But your right I agree with what your saying. I think last I saw they say they will have LTE in my area sometime this year but I think we will have to wait and see how the Softbank thing goes maybe Masayoshi Son will get things going in the right direction for them,:)

Poke:

Win8 will make no difference. There's insufficient volume and the LTE network is mostly vaporware. Their approach of putting up the smaller cities to boost the market count is working against them.

will see once the Softbank deal is done right now to early to say Masayoshi Son will have more of a input lets hope it's leads to good things for them. I'm going to wait and see what happens I might leave Sprint after march and go to Verizon. Their doing it right as far as making sure your network supports their growth and aggressive about maintaining it. This is why their leading everyone else in LTE heck they already have it here as well. :)

Windows phone at this point in time is not going to make a difference given the small market share. But, there is a chance that it will catch on and become important.
