Am still using my 17 jewel wind-up radium dial watch. Still glows in the dark and can set off a Geiger counter hi hi.
Probably more aligned with alarms to remind them to take their medications. 😉I'm surprised how many senior citizens have the Apple watch now. Must be the cardio monitor features that sells it.
As I recall, don't go out of your way to buy a Qi charger with the intent of charging your Apple Watch Series 3. (AppleInsider article) Apple is supposed to release the AirPower wireless charger that can handle the Apple Watch Series 3 as well as iPhone 8/8+/X and is compatible with Qi Fast Charging devices. But it's not here yet (maybe WWDC) so stick with the magnetically-coupled wireless charger included with the Apple Watch for now.Does the Series 3 work with the Qi standard of wireless charging?
I have several Qi chargers, and none of them work with the apple watch. And Apple seems to be in no rush to release it's long awaited iphone/watch charger pad.Reason I ask is I bought a wireless charger off Amazon when I got my iPhone 8+ and was just curious if I could use the same charger for an Apple Watch.
Same here. The only thing I can get to charge the apple watch is the original charger.I have several Qi chargers, and none of them work with the apple watch. And Apple seems to be in no rush to release it's long awaited iphone/watch charger pad.
Perhaps Apple's charger isn't working either. And Apple seems to be in no rush to release it's long awaited iphone/watch charger pad.

BTW, buried in the watchOS v5 announcement was the factoid that watchOS 5 won't be available for the original ?Watch. So, sorry all you .1% who bought the 24K Gold Edition at $10K+, you will soon have a very heavy bracelet. Although, one would think that the actual case would fit the Series 2/3 system board and battery. Maybe Apple has an exclusive offer for those that had to have the very best...
