Which UK TV channels can you pick up in the US?

Can you pick up any UK TV channels in the US? If so which ones. and can you get news feeds from here?

unless its a fluke, you can't get any UK channels here in North America mainly due to the beam the satellite broadcasts on. Its only aimed at Europe

PSB will probably put his sad face in a reply because he is from Scotland and would love to get UK programming

News feeds from the US? Of course you can.

Over the years I have been lucky enough to find quite a few feeds and live sports games from the UK, but those are feeds so cant be depended upon. As for regular UK TV FTA there is none to speak of
BBC World is FTA on C-Band but you will need at least a 6' dish!
