Man, the nerve of some people. I got the GS3 from a guy with a trade, plus me making up the difference after I get his phone. Well I just got the thing yesterday, and he has had my phone for a week. What have I heard constantly since the phone hit my hand?

Where is my money?
Hey, when are you going to send that money?

Hey, *** ****, I DO know where you live. Send me the money NOW, or else!!!!!!!!!!!!

These were just a few of the messages that this "guy" sent me.

So I finally sent him the money just to shut him up.

I would have defriended him on Facebook!

I have noticed that the LTE radio seems to be stronger in the GS3 than in the Nexus or the Rezound. Isnt it built into the SOC?

Technically the modem, not the radio. Transceivers are separate and based on the band.

But it is easier to say yes. It helps you get awesome battery life all day. Had my LTE searching all day with no WiFi in a slow data speed area. 10% all day. Love this battery life. I have cleaned up a lot of the nonsense apps and junk running though.

Absolutely loving this galaxy s3. If anyone is on the fence about it I highly recommend.

I like the new HTC Evo 4G LTE phone...however, I was in a relialbe WiMax area yesterday and could have used my old HTV Evo 4G since LTE isn't active in the area. You know, I automatically jump onto Verizon 3G networks while roaming (unlimited) so why can't my phone jump onto Verizon LTE until they light things up?

ATT allows unlimited data on 4G phones? Or is that unlimited 3G data and tiered 4G service? I ask because I currently have unlimited 3G data and tiered 4G seemed like the most likely occurrence if I switched to a 4G phone.

If you have unlimited you can keepbt when you switch to 4g. You don't have to change to a capped plan.

So what you're saying is this will hold you over until the next iPhone or Galaxy Note (or whatever the next big thing is) comes out in a few weeks. :D

I have to say the S3 is very nice. My nephew got one this week after getting pushed into a pool (with his iphone in his pocket) by his team mates. Since I take him to football practice, I've been trying it out this week (to make sure it stays safe and that it works well ) . It's definitely on my list now along with seeing what Samsung announces for the new Galaxy Note.

I'm still stuck with the iphone since I came home and found my Nexus had been confiscated before I even got to use it. :( I thought diamonds were supposed to be a girls best friend, but apparently the latest high tech phones are too.

Very interesting article I found about 4G interoperability or lack thereof: http://www.lightreading.com/document.asp?doc_id=219045 Sprint currently operates in the 1900 MHz PCS spectrum and have reported they will begin deploying LTE services in their 800 MHz spectrum. I'm sure LTE interoperability will take a couple years go play out.

I think that the interoperability will come eventually. Right now there are just too many bands, eventually the chips (and antennas) will come that will be able to do a bunch of bands at once.

For those thinking about getting a new galaxy S3, it looks like an unlocked 16GB AT&T version of the phone is on sale for $499 today: http://1saleaday.com/wireless/?afsrc=1

Please note, I have no affiliation or personal experience with that website. I came across the sales info on a deals website I frequent and thought some here could benefit. At that price, I'm almost tempted to grab one to play with to see what I'm missing on android before turning around and reselling it on eBay.

I just got a Galaxy S 3 I have to say, I like it so far. was going to wait a bit, but my EVO bit the dust and I could not wait any longer.

Just ordered the iPhone 5.

I am going to give it a whirl and either keep it, or give it to my wife, sell her 4s and go with the new windows offerings (when and if verizon gets something worth looking at).

So now it is a wait game for it to get here. Joy....lol

Got tired of waiting and found an iPhone 5 at Wal mart today. Picked it up and cancelled my online order.

Great Christmas gift idea for your IOS peeps
