GameFly PCDD: Titanfall is $47.99 with code FEB20OFF

Nice deal on a highly anticipated game that isn't even out yet. I would be all over it if my friends weren't going to be playing on Xbox One.

I'll need a 50% off deal to jump on the TF bandwagon.

OT: New Humble Indie Bundle. Got some good games like Guacameele Gold Edition, Dust, The Swapper and others, including more games to be announced later.

Nice bundle. I picked this one up for $4. I already had Guacamelee on PSN and I already had The Swapper and Gianna Sisters on Steam. The other games in the bundle were interesting enough that it was still a good deal for me. Hopefully whatever games they add to this bundle are good too.

If anyone wants a Steam code for The Swapper or Gianna Sisters shoot me a PM.

Great deals on Rockstar games on the PSN this week, and sale prices below don't require Plus membership. I'm grabbing the LA Noire DLC pass for $3, which I had actually intended to pay the full $12 for, as I had gotten the main game so cheap used. And if not for backlog, that Red Dead Redemption complete package looks awfully tempting as well. (I know. Crazy that I have never played RDR. lol)

Bully $2.49
L.A. Noire $7.49
L.A. Noire: Rockstar DLC Pass $2.99
Manhunt $2.49
Max Payne $2.49
Max Payne 3 $4.99
Max Payne 3 Ultimate Edition $5.99
Max Payne 3: Rockstar DLC Pass $3.49
Midnight Club $2.49
Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition $4.99
Midnight Club II $2.49
Midnight Club Los Angeles: Complete Edition $4.99
Midnight Club: L.A. Remix $4.99
Red Dead Redemption $7.49
Red Dead Redemption: Red Dead Redemption And Undead Nightmare Collection $9.99
Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare $4.99
Red Dead Revolver PS2 Classic $2.49
The Warriors $3.49

I picked up the Weekly Humble Bundle for $6 too. I mostly got it for The Book of Unwritten Tales and Deponia. As usual, there are some throw away games in this bundle. Still, when I'm getting 11 games for $6 and some of that money is going to charity I definitely can't complain. Depending on pricing, if there is at least 1-2 games I actually want in these bundles I will usually pick them up.

The system requirements for these look doable for my Windows 7 laptop. Only Deponia says "shared memory not recommended." But what is Pixel Shader 2.0/3.0 that some require?

I don't actually know what Pixel Shader is. When I look at system requirements I typically just look at CPU, GPU, and RAM. I would bet that you will be fine on your laptop. I play games like Civ 5 and some indie games on a laptop when I take care of my dad pretty often. This is a 2 or 3 year old Windows 7 laptop with an Intel i3 and 4GB of ram. Basically it's nothing special but it's ok for a lot of indie games and older games. You might have to turn a few settings down but I would think you can probably play all of these games on your laptop. Of course, I don't know what type of processor or how much RAM you have but if it's a semi-recent laptop it's probably ok.

I may pick it up, but honestly I don't see myself delving into any of those games anytime soon. My games list is so backed up that nowadays I really ask myself "Do I REALLY see myself playing any of these?" I mean to be fair I probably won't get to the CIV games anytime soon, but at least I know that I basically have the epitome of turn based strategy at my disposal now. I'm hoping that a really big publisher steps up and does a sale soon. I was hoping for Ubisoft, but given the big steam sale this weekend I don't see that happening

Speaking of, Today is Tom Clancy game day (Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, Rainbow 6, etc.) http://store.steampowered.com/sale/tom_clancy

I'm not big on those games, but I would recommend picking up HAWX for $2.49. It's not the most in depth flight simulator but seeing as I view air fighting games as typically not worth it, this one was still a lot of fun for me. Here's the Yahtzee review that convinced me to try it out.

After a little research, I see I have DirectX 11 on my computer, which has Pixel Shader 5.0. My processor is an i5 (~2.3Ghz) with 4 GB RAM, so I should be good. Now I need to figure out what I feel like paying. I had been waiting for a price drop on The Raven for the PS3.

'Nother big PSN Sale starting tomorrow. An additional Vita game sale as well. I'm finally going to bite on The Walking Dead Season 2 pass ($10.49 for Plus members) and for The Wolf Among Us ($8.99 for Plus members), though I had been holding out for Vita versions of both TellTale games (I found I preferred the touchscreen for the "combat" elements in TWD1, though lag was really bad throughout.)

I Swear that TellTale doesn't know how to program on consoles. TWAU on the 360 is a laggy, slow loading mess, and King mentioned that TWD on the PS3 was very slow as well. And if I recall, Back to the Future on the PS3 was quite slow as well. Maybe it's wrong for me to compare their performance to that on my PC, but the game is not taxing at all from a hardware perspective. They could definitely benefit from some optimization.

OT: Big sale on Saint's Row 4 and Deep Silver games in general at the Humble store. Saints Row 4 is $16 and the Season Pass is $4. That's a LOT of content for $20.

Very nice deal on the Saint's Row stuff. I already have it all but I still haven't started yet. On your recommendation, I wanted to get inFamous 1 and 2 finished first.
