UPS for Hopper w/Sling and other AV equipment

I think I remember the Hopper using somewhere around the 45W range. TV, receiver, modem and router wouldn't even come close to maxing out the UPS. I use the next lower model on my 722, TV & DVD recorder, which I got on sale at Staples during Black Friday one year:

By the way, this looks like the same model that you posted, except it's $9 cheaper and from Amazon instead of Ebay:

Thank you. I appreciate it.

The info still helpful...I had no idea on the power consumption of the Hopper (I've heard some people say it's like a small refrigerator). And since my RCA 46-inch TV consumes 300 Watts while turned on, I didn't want to max-out

I updated another thread here last week, mine was around 43 watts recording. When I added the second hopper I bought a BackUps 550 for it and the indoor antenna.

I just put my Hoppers and ehd's on the battery side of my ups's. The TV I just put on the surge suppression side. In a poer failure, I want to be able to continue to record a read into the buffer. If I loose the TV while the power is out, that's OK with me.

Not bad, will run longer without tv.

Ive had the 1500w version of that cyberpower for awhile now and its been great. Itll run just the DVR for a long time.

We took a Kill A Watt and measured everything we were going to connect to the USP and decided a 450W APC model would be ample to finishing anything we were recording at the time of a power failure. The one you are looking at looks like it will do fine.

What it is also great for is not having the receiver reboot when there is a short duration power outage so we don't have gaps in what we were watching.

Edit: Oops, is see you got one already. It looks good.
