Amidst Sheen's last-ditch pleas to cast, Lorre has told Jon Cryer this reboot would involve a significant role for him and the introduction of a new, yet-to-be-cast character.
It won't, they killed the goose that laid the golden egg...Oh, why doesn't he just let it die. Reboot it all you want, it will not be the same show.

I grew to like that show...but my wife still hates it. Bring it back for another season!!!I just don't see Jon Cryer carrying this show. But hopefully it will be delayed, and this will give Bleep My Dad Said a chance for a second season. I REALLY liked that show. Shatner was perfect in it.

I watched both of those shows last year, but the Bleep my Dad says was never that funny to me. It had a couple of shows that were funny ,like the gay one and the ones with old Charlene from Designing Women as his girlfriend ,but over all it wasn't that consistently funny . As for Two and A Half Men , I say let it die and not try to reboot it at all. Especially if they introduce another "Charlie" ala Darrin from Bewitched. I would simply stop watching all together.

I won't say that something like that has never happened but the only case of such a thing I remember was when ABC combined "The Paul Lynde Show" and "Temperature's Rising" into the "The New Temperature's Rising" which failed pretty badly. In that case the shows were from the same producer and they hada contractual commitment to keep at least one alive. That is not the case here and Shatner moving in with alna Haper would not makea whole lot of sense (not taht the other combination did either).
I cannot imagine this show lasting very long with Sheen...
