Trying To Get Remote Code To My Vcr

I have a GO VCR. It is around 8 years old. None of the codes in the Dish manuel work with the Dish remote control. I tried all three of them. So, the Go VCR cannot be programed with my Dish remote control.
Is there anyone out there who might know a code I can use, or tell me what to do. By not responding to the code, also prohibits me from having the Dish tuner control my VCR on timer recordings.

have you tryed the auto scan it should have a place that tell you how to do a auto scan also

Finally got the code by trial and error. I just punched in numbers close to the three codes they gave me and it worked.
