Three quick Hopper questions.

1. Should the Hopper unit be on all the time for recording or upgrades, or can I just turn it off?
2. Can additional folders be added to the custom guide lists, or am I limited to the 4 extra ones that are available?
3. Is there a 5 gig wireless adaptor available to hook up to broadband, or is it just 2.4?

1. You can turn it off, it will record even if you don't have it powered on. Always keep the power cable plugged in.
2. The limit is 5 custom folders, unless you count NO FOLDER, then 6.
3. I know the HWS uses 2.4 and 5 ghz.

The receivers really never are OFF.....they just go into standby (to cut the video to the TV)

The Dish(Netgear) USB adapter is dual band.
