1. Are XM and Sirius antennas interchangeable on Sirius radios? - Are they the same frequency range?

2. My antenna cable is damaged from being slammed in the door too many times.
Can I splice this cable carefully with a soldering iron and heat shrink tube?

3. Do sat radio antennas have electronics in them like an LNB? Some type of low noise amp? Is there voltage on the coax of sat radios?

Just some curious questions I have had.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah you should be able to slice it. Just try to keep it as normal as it once was as possable to keep the cables impedance the same.
