The calculator is VERY COOL:hatsoff::bow
I install FTA around Oregon and Washington - I always print out a chart of the Satellite Elevation, Magnetic Azimuth, and LNB Skew before I head out for the install. I will use this - a very handy tool indeed.
Thanks
and Thanks again!
Bob

Did (most of) the shopping channels on Dish go FTA as promised?

Really like the printable list. Like the fact its customizable so you don't need to print all the pages just to have a quick list of the Atlantic satellites (as an example)

I just found DISH Network Satellite Map on TheList! Very cool. :)

I know it falls under FTA, but I think it would be helpful to have the Glorystar channel list as an independent list (kind of like a zero cost subscription). This would be especially helpful as more people will be picking up Glorystar when SkyAngel ends their DBS service. Also, the graphic and new channels list at Glorystar is not the easiest to analyze.

Thanks for the great work!

Thanks for noticing! (You reminded me to add the "DISH Network Transponder Map" that I had added but forgot to link to :))

I like the idea about adding a Glorystar channel list, but I have to figure out what transponders contains the SDT and NIT for Glorystar (or if someone knows could you please share the information with me :D) .

I must not have been paying attention, because when I clicked through I was like "big deal, same as before". Then I realized what I was looking at - WOW! This is even better than the other one!

Thanks :D

SatelliteAV (Brian) or Glorystar1 would definitely be able to answer those questions. I'm sure Iceberg or someone else with ChannelMaster could help, too.

A partial list of what you need is at Glorystar Channel Changes - Glorystar.tv - Glorystar Christian Satellite Systems.

Question:
Do we post the actual name of the channel or the name that comes up on a channel scan?

Question:

Thank you Textin!

I used the information you provided to update TheList.

To answer your question The best way to provide an update for multiple channels is with a channel master file.
If the satellite is one that I can not update, (Eastern satellites and C-Band) then you can change the name to the correct one,
or if there is a channel that I can not figure out (Example "Service 1").

Thank you very much.

The printable list thing is pretty damn cool. When I want to aim a dish, I can print just that satellite (and remove the radio channels form the list) so I can enter the TP info in it

I know I mentioned it before (above) but really didnt realize how valuable it was now that its getting warmer (well 25 out) :D so I can work on the Dish farm. very well done qwert :)

Addition to List

Nahuel1a 71.8 11705 V 3975 Telemundo 1 Good Music - Numbers from a blind scan with Ivisionsat.

Pasted is the CM list that contains all the updated info. All versions of CM have a bug in then in that it will not save the provider information. When you save the information, then close the program, when you re-open the file the data comes up missing.

I previously included a few provider updates but not all were updated on the list.

Here are the ones that were missed:

11932 V 2220 TV Libre 4194 4195/4197 4194 Provider> Scopus
12139 V 3029 Canal 8 Cordoba 3585 3588 3585 Provider> Canal 8 Cordoba
12177 v 4500 SuperShow 259 260 259 Provider> Streamtel Network
12177 v 4500 Superland 264 265 264 Provider> Streamtel Network

If you look at the channel names on the CM list you will notice that I have also included the actual channel name and not the cryptic information that is usually picked up by the STB.

For the life of me I can’t get the following transponder included on the list to produce a signal. Have these channels been verified to exist?

This is a known feed: 11909 V 2592

11917 V 10984 = no signal

===

Some incomplete words on the list: ;)

GlobeCast Spai = GlobeCast Spain

===

Data entry error:

12053 V 27499 > Antena 3 Internacional is the correct entry except for it should be Antena not Antene. The ANTENA 3 entry above it can be deleted since it is one in the same.

Thanks for the list, it sure made my life a lot easier when setting up and scanning a particular bird. :eureka
