I noticed the status on the Apple Care is "Complete:" Complete We've billed you for Apple services only. You will not receive a physical item.
When I bought Apple Care on a couple of laptops (work) it seems I had to register it. Same for iPhones. How does this actually work? They just know that name and/or serial number has a year's support?
Just checked my banking activity and Apple had pulled funds twice for the one iPad I ordered. Called Apple customer service and they quickly acknowledged and reversed, but said it would take 3 to 5 business days for the money to come back. The CSR was great, but I don't buy that it takes that long to put the money back when it took minutes to take it. The rep did send me an online apple store discount code for my trouble, and that was nice, but I'm more concerned about the temporary hole in my checking account.
We'll see if they figure out how to add phone capabilities as was originally hoped for by many.IMO Apple will be making "bigger steps forward" with the iPad not the iPhone in the future.
It is typically faster to process a refund than it was to make the purchase in the first place except that it may have to be done by manual entry. The CSR was great, but I don't buy that it takes that long to put the money back when it took minutes to take it.

phone capabilities to the iPad? why? It has iMessage, which for iOS-users provides full SMS capabilities. It has a front camera, so you can Skype, but why would we expect it to be a phone?
Yep. I was afraid of that. It'll just make it confusing as to what software updates your device will work with.
Aple really confused things when they threw the 3GS and the 4S to their lineup.

June? Aren't you the optimistic one!
