I have recently had a VIP 722 and 625 installed. The dish has a clear shot at the sky but sometimes the picture on my screen gets very pixelated. What kind of signal levels should I be seeing?

Well, it depends on the satellite. There are lots of threads on this you can search, but 70s for 119, 60s for 110, and high 30s to mid 50s for 129 seem to be the norm on the new scale.
