Software Version P3.07 for DVR 501/508 and DVR510

03/14/2006: 1308 Software Version P3.07 for DVR 508 and DVR510

Effective Wednesday, March 15th, Engineering plans to spool a PARTIAL PHASE of software version P3.16 for the DVR 508 and DVR510 receivers. This is primarily a non-forced maintenance release available at ALL satellite locations.
At this time P3.04 and P3.07 will be the valid software versions for the DVR 508 and DVR510.

I really hope they don't break anything.

VOD and NBR will both be released at the same time IMHO. The revenue generating potential of VOD is probably the driving force behind getting NBR on the 50x series.

I think you're right because in the Tech. Portal it says 508 and 510. I thought they had made a mistake and just added the 501 but now that you mention it. Hmmmm?

That's correct. I've had the same problem in the past with FF.

That's because FF doesn't emulate IE.

Right or wrong, nobody is spending the extra money to support non-standard browsers, and the de facto standard is MS-IE, and that's NOT going to change.

Is the "3.16" a typo, are they spooling 3.07 or 3.16?

and I hope it's NBR.
