software update question?

So at night when I go to bed and turn off just the TV (Not the tuner) all the above happens while I'm sleeping.

Thats exactly what I do too and I get the updates as well. I have the automatic updates set for 5am and when I wake in the morning the logo is bouncing around. I just hit select and go on about about ALL DAY viewing on both tuners.

I never physically turn my receiver off. And maybe its just my good fortune but it may be because of this I don't have 1/3 of the problems others have reported.
