Haha nice try, that only works with Sirius radios because they always had the inferior system (FWIU they have changed that though, and they are keeping the kill signals in constant rotation now) . XM you may beat the kill signal (which stays in the stream for several weeks) but in that time the encryption keys expire and you would need a refresh to get it off Channel 1 - which you can't get without a paid subscription.

Mmmmm, wrong my friend, I know several people with XM radios that have cancelled and their radios still work......... For years!

My Delphi Skyfi (original one from 2003) has been off my account since 2006, and I listened to O&A today, even after they renumbered the channels, the radio did the update automatically. Have not paid for that radio in 5 years. I do pay for 2 other radios and discovered the Skyfi still worked by dumb luck and have been using it ever since.

My stilleto 2 is still working. I listen to it everyday at work, well except for now while the kill signal is floating around.
