NEW YORK – June 16, 2006 –SIRIUS Satellite Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) will kick off its coverage of the Canadian Football League tonight, June 16, as the British Columbia Lions host the Saskatchewan Roughriders at 10:30 pm ET on channel 123. Tomorrow, Saturday, June 17, SIRIUS will broadcast the home opener of the Toronto Argonauts, featuring former NFL standout running back Ricky Williams, when they host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at 3:00 pm ET on channel 123.
SIRIUS - the leading provider of sports radio programming, broadcasting the play-by-play of more than 350 pro and college teams - will broadcast a CFL “Game Of The Week” throughout the 2006 regular season, plus every game of the CFL playoffs, including the 94th annual Grey Cup Championship game on November 19, 2006.
