Sirius Stream gt unit...

i have a sirius streamer unit and installed over the weekend..i spent over 30 minutes w/ sirius tech support and they finally gave up and sent me to a 3rd party company (or maybe the maker of streamer) but they have not been answering.. my problem is this:
i installed correctly, it gets power, turns on, antenna is clear on roof... but, when i tune to a frequency that has a lot of static and then change it to that frequency on the streamer... the fm radio goes silent, no static, but also no satellite radio... i have it on channel 184, and tried several other channels... i tried over 8 different frequency's... but get the same exact problem... my vehicle is a ford 2002 expedition w/ the factory installed radio...

any idea?
