Does anyone know if there is a plan to offer "Enhanced Locals" to the Bowling Green area out of Nashville? I've checked the FCC website and per their list, Bowling Green qualifies as a significantly viewed marked for Nashville stations.

Here's the quick answer.

Does cable offer Nashville Stations?

If yes, then are they blacked out during Prime Time?

If cable doesn't offer them, then it will be the same for satellite. If they do offer them on cable, they most likely black them out during primetime programming - something satellite would not want to deal with.

Remember that the Significantly viewed locals can only be offered to areas that have their own locals first. The only specific exception to this rule are the two Baton Rouge counties in Mississippi that are allowed to get Jackson locals with no "real" locals.

See ya
