I haven't seen anything about this yet. I, for one would welcome him with open-arms. But alas, I still haven't heard back from the Lions about my job application. Seriously, I don't think that Detroit will allow him to be director of player personal and coach. I don't buy all those stories about Ford being an Unmeddling owner. If they take a QB with the first pick of the draft, you can bet that Ford's fingerprints will be all over that. He's got to put fans in the seats, and the quickest away to do that around here has been new coaches and QB's. No way to build a team. We need a QB, that's for sure. The NFL is a QB driven league, but we can draft one next season, with what will surely be a top 5 pick.
