hEY GUYS
sorry but i see these uplink messages every week or so, and I want to learn. Can the regular dish subscriber do anything with that info? Can I here in Miami get more channels somehow by knowing how to read those uplink reports?

Thanks in advance,
N

Think of it as a glimpse of what may be coming to Dish Network in the future.

When a channel is uplinked it means they are broadcasting it to the satellites, and while it is uplinked it does not mean that those channels are available to customers or ever will be available to customers.

Ther have been times when they have uplinked channels such as YES NETWORK only to remove them day or months later never making them available to customers.

A vast majority of channels uplinked have been made available to customers, many within a week or so while others months (or in the case of some channels years) before they are available to the customer.

That is what an uplink report is. :)

How to stop recording from starting?
