If true it's about freaking time! Crazy how's it's partially owned by DIRECTV and been available in HD since September 2010 but took them 6 years to get it added.
Like BeIN but with different rights deals. Including New York Cosmos and some other light NASL content to go along several European club soccer channels. Plus Chinese Super League, Chinese basketball and a handful of other sports from around the world.

Yes. FX was always the short name for Fox. Originally intended to be titled "Fox Movie Studio" during the planning stages, the channel first launched at midnight on October 31, 1994 as fXM: Movies from Fox, a name derived from its sister cable channel FX, which debuted five months earlier on June 1.
I remember that launch. It launched with the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" on Galaxy 7 transponder 23. It was ITC (In The Clear) for several years before it scrambled with VCII+.
I wonder if that means One World Sports will be in the American Basepacks, or if it's still going to be international?Well I posted a list of the channels in the Pub Members area the other day...

According to the transponder maps, it looks like two cinema channels disappeared this morning and in their place the following appeared in engineering mode:
233 GSNHD - Game Show Network HD
386 FMHD - A music channel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FM_(TV_channel)
No sign of One World Sport HD, which did appear in the app as launching next week then disappeared. I wonder if the contract never got signed or is becoming the way of Pac12. What is disappointing is no sign of FXM HD and I can see how someone might get that confused with FM HD. I really wish ATT/DirecTV would go in and fill in the gaps with channels like FXM HD, Nick Toons HD, Nasa HD, CSpan 1&2 in HD, ect. You would think that we would get an HD Christmas in the next few months to prep for the fall time. FMHD is now listed in the app as well.
