Retain Your Right to Sue Comcast - Opt out of new arbitration agreement... - dslreports.com

Local Maryland news station WTOP says that Comcast has changed the terms in their subscriber agreements so that you lose the right to sue Comcast in a court of law before a judge and jury (instead, your complaint is dealt with via a company hired by Comcast).

"If you're the type to just write the checks and chuck the paperwork when the bills come in, you may want to take another look at your Comcast bill. Montgomery County officials say Comcast changed the terms in your subscriber agreement. Unless you take action, the new rules go into effect."

Comcast users can opt out of the new arbitration agreement via this URL.

What would one sue a cable company for? and Arbitration specially if it limits the arbitrator to "only one assigned by a single party" can be easily beat in any court. An arbitration agreement can not be legally one sided, so they must allow a neutral arbitrators to deal with the matter.
