Report: Google considers becoming a wireless carrier

Everyone want to get into it. They can only shake up the business if they are better. How long has Tmobile and Sprint been around and they still are second and third tier companies. They've tried everything except what AT&T and Verizon know - you have to have a reliable signal almost everywhere. People have generally paid more with the biggies precisely because of that. And when it looks like a competitor is making some inroads, what do they do? Come out with better plans. I suppose if anyone can do it Google can, but even they would have huge uphill battle.

Perhaps they could tie this in with their Loon wifi balloon project as well. They want to have multiple ways to connect people together with one service. That would be the way of the future.

Wireless is the wave of the future and will be entrenching our lives even more as time goes on as things advance and in ways we have not imagined today.
