Remote Code Issues

Hi All, I just purchased an RCA L40FHD41 TV for my office. I have a VIP211 receiver in the office with a 5.3 IR Remote. I am not able to get the Dish remote to control the TV. I tried all the RCA remote codes in the manual. I also tried doing a power scan and went through all the codes without any luck. I was curious if there are any other options. Is there another Dish Network remote that I can get that might have some newer codes that will still work with the VIP211. I know there are some universal remotes I could probably get to work but not sure I want to go that route.
