Hi Folks,

I apologize if this seems like a easily-answered question, but I have yet to be able to figure this out. I presently lease a 622 from Dish. If I were to buy a 211, how much more would I have to be paying a month to Dish? Would there be any significant difference between buying and leasing the 211, other than the 6 dollar monthly lease fee for the 211? Thanks in advance for your help!

You might be able to make the 211 your primary receiver. I don't believe leased receivers require a second receiver fee. :)

I have a leased 811 and an owned 622 which was added later. For the 811, I pay nothing extra and for the 622 I pay the "Add'l Receiver Access Fee" of $6 and the $5.98 DVR fee. I don't think it would matter which of these I make "primary", the cost would be the same either way. I also have a leased 301 for which I pay a $5 "Leased Receiver Fee".

IIRC, you should pay nothing additional for the first receiver on the account (included in the programming cost) and either $5 or $6 per month (SD vs. HD) for each additional receiver regardless of whether it's owned or leased. The name of the fee changes depending on whether it's owned vs. leased, when it was added, etc., but I believe the fee amount is the same either way...
