PS4 Owners Thread

Honestly Xbox Live, while better, also has a number of issues. For some reason for me it takes an INSUFFERABLE amount of time to log into Live, whether it's from my 360 or my One, regardless of whether or not I'm wired or wireless. I have an Open NAT and everything and once I connect everything is fine, but it really takes like 60 seconds for either console to get to a usable state. I think I may call Xbox Support tonight (assuming the wait isn't too bad) and get this straightened out finally.

I didn't know anything about any of those games but after looking at the videos on Steam I think I'll vote for Assault Android Cactus. I like twin stick shooters and this has a cool look to it. None of the choices look terrible but I'm not sure I will realistically play any of them.

That could be said about nearly every PS+ game that came out last year with the exception of Binding of Isaac and Rocket League. ;-p

That's true. Those are the only 2 PS Plus games I really played in the last year. I did play the sh*t out of both of those games though. I would say I easily put 50+ hours into both of them.

If PS Plus wasn't required for online multiplayer on PS4 I would just let my subscription lapse. It would be cheaper for me to buy the few games I actually want even if I paid full price for them, which I rarely do. It's really a bummer how far the quality of the offerings have dropped from what they were a couple years ago on PS3.

Last year I barely broke even on the free Plus games I played for any length of time and the extra Plus discounts on games I bought. But it's that free Plus game backlog that for the moment "keeps me hanging on" to quote last year's PS4 ad campaign. I'm also holding out for a discount on Bioshock Infinite DLC (BI was a free Plus game for me).

The color scheme is cool but I'm not a fan of the art they put on top. It makes sense than they would do something special for the last Uncharted game though.

I really like the controller. In my set up (sitting on a dark middle AV stand shelf), the console's physical appearance wouldn't really show.

EDIT: but no way I'm paying $65 for a fancy looking controller. :p

I don't think this is the last Uncharted game. I get the feeling it's the last Nathan Drake game, but hell, even Halo went on without Master Chief and Mass Effect is going on without Commander Shepard. I wouldn't be surprised if we get an Uncharted 5 in 2019 after the next TLoU game.

Totally agree with this. The name is too big for them to walk away from it.
